This presentation will focus on the phenomenon of sexual harassment.  We will begin with a review of Civil Rights law and the cases that shaped civil litigation in sexual harassment cases.  Next, we will review what research tells us about sexual harassment, focusing on sexual harassment targets, harassers, and organizational contexts.  We will then discuss the psychological impact of sexual harassment in the workplace and will conclude with a brief discussion of evaluating sexual harassment plaintiffs for civil litigation.
