NMPA Cultural Diversity Courses

Course Title: 6. New Mexico Substance Abuse Epidemiology Profile, 2013.
(3 Cultural Diversity CE Credits) 
 


Credit: This course has been approved for 3 credit hours of cultural diversity continuing education credit for New Mexico psychologists. 

The New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Practice Board and the New Mexico Social Work Board currently accept continuing education credits that are approved for New Mexico psychologists. These courses have not been approved for use in other states.
 
Summary: New Mexico Substance Abuse Epidemiology Profile, 2013. This report presents important indicators of substance abuse in New Mexico.  These indicators include outcome measures and substance abuse and alcohol consumption measures.  The presentation of each major indicator includes a text description of the major data findings; a detailed table with results by gender, age group, and race/ethnicity, a table detailing county results by race/ethnicity; a bar chart and map with rates for each New Mexico county and additional data.
